TEKsystems is seeking a Patient Financial Advocate for a fully remote role based out of Albuquerque, NM. The position involves handling inbound/outbound calls to collect patient balances and negotiating payment plans, while applying medical terminology and strong customer service skills.

The role requires at least 1 year of call center experience and healthcare billing exposure, with remote work flexibility and a structured training schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent call center experience.
• 6 months of healthcare experience including billing/claims/patient care.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Make and receive inbound and outbound calls to arrange payments for patient accounts.
• Respond to patient billing inquiries and negotiate payments and payment plans.
• Submit credit card payments and escalate complex billing issues for resolution.
• Meet or exceed daily production requirements while following applicable laws and regulations.
