Job summary

BCA Financial Services is seeking a patient account specialist to assist patients in resolving balances with empathy and accuracy. This full-time, work-from-home role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and a starting pay of $17 per hour plus monthly bonus opportunities.

You will call patients to explain options, document interactions, and meet performance goals with coaching. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in call center or billing and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a call center, customer service, billing, or collections.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build trust and handle sensitive conversations.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
• Reliable, detail-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Talk with patients to help them understand their accounts and find solutions.
• Offer payment options such as full balance payment, payment plans, and/or financial assistance where applicable.
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Accurately document interactions in our systems.
• Meet performance goals (with support and coaching along the way).
