Intermountain Health is seeking a remote Revenue Cycle Specialist to support payment postings, research claim cycles, and process payer adjustments. The role requires navigating multiple payer portals, and coordinating with teams to resolve accounts efficiently.

The position includes video interviews via Microsoft Teams and potential onsite meetings, with a 40-hour work week and a competitive hourly pay range. We value HIPAA compliance and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• One year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle (Payment Posting, Billing, Follow-Up, Collections) required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies appropriate payment details and saves back-up as appropriate.
• Researches, validates and makes adjustments to payment postings per procedures for account resolution.
• Initiates payer recoupments, refunds for payers and patients where applicable per procedures for account resolution.
• Navigate payer claim portals and understand payer functionality.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with others.
• Operate computers and office software and equipment.
• Read and interpret computer monitors and documents in English.
