Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle experience.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identifies payment details and saves backups as appropriate.
• Researches, validates and adjusts payment postings; follows procedures for resolution.
• Initiates payer recoupments, refunds, and patient refunds when applicable.
• Navigate payer claim portals and understand payer functionality.
• Interacting with others by communicating clearly in writing and verbally.
• Operate computers and office software.
• See and read computer monitors and documents in English.
