Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle professional for a fully remote role. The position involves handling payments, postings, and follow-up to resolve accounts, with emphasis on payer interactions and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle (Payment Posting, Billing, Follow-Up, Collections) required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies payment details and saves back-up as appropriate.
• Researches, validates and adjusts payment postings to resolve accounts.
• Initiates payer recoupments, refunds for payers and patients where applicable.
• Navigates payer claim portals and understands payer functionality.
• Communicates effectively in writing and orally with stakeholders.
• Operates computers and office equipment and various software.
• Reads screens and documents in English.
