Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Supervisor, Access and Patient Support to oversee a remote team handling customer service, enrollment and reimbursement activities. You will manage program metrics, coach staff, and ensure adherence to SOPs while coordinating with leadership, clients and partners.

The role emphasizes development of team members, use of Workday for HR tasks, and strong emphasis on compliance, regulatory standards and patient access support excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of leadership experience in a call center or similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proven leadership, troubleshooting, and time management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with urgency.
• Experience leading remote teams.
• Shift flexibility for early/later shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively oversees daily operations for an inbound and outbound patient access support team.
• Maintain development/training goals for team members in a 100% remote setting.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions & metrics for the program.
• Conduct regular reviews of program metrics and report results to leadership.
• Manage workflow to ensure efficient customer service operations and monitor KPIs.
• Test/solutioning/approving program changes including tech/platform updates.
• Meet with Manager to discuss performance and policy implementation.
• Conduct development-based 1x1s with team members and coach for performance and goals.
• Manage Workday tasks; approvals, timecards, PTO, etc.
• Comply with Local, State, and Federal laws including HIPAA plans.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve complex issues.
• Prioritize time and meet key deadlines as assigned.
• Maintain daily contact with client/3rd party partners via strong communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
