Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Access & Patient Support Supervisor to oversee a large remote team handling customer service, enrollment, and reimbursement activities. The role drives program performance, develops staff, and ensures adherence to SOPs and policies.

The position requires strong communication skills, remote leadership ability, and commitment to staff development. Training occurs during a full-time schedule with flexible shifts within normal business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to the continued development of oneself and team members.
• Ability to lead and engage remote employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program staff performing customer service, enrollment and reimbursement activities, and benefit investigations.
• Manage an inbound/outbound patient access support team of 70+ members.
• Maintain development/training goals for remote team members.
• Create and maintain SOPs and program-specific work instructions.
• Review program metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly; report results to senior leadership.
• Test/solution/approve program changes including IT and platform upgrades.
• Handle timecard creation, editing, and HR responsibilities as a people leader.
• Provide coaching and feedback on performance improvement and goal setting.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve complex program issues.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines; maintain daily client/3rd party communications.
