Piedmont Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our Scheduling Hub/Operations.

This role handles high call volumes, registers and schedules appointments across multiple sites, and ensures HIPAA privacy and patient service excellence. The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish-English) with strong communication skills, a high school diploma, and 1–2 years in healthcare customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, High school diploma.
• Required: Bilingual - fluent in Spanish and English. Excellent communication skills required.
• Preferred: one to two years of customer service in a health care setting.
• Immunizations: Up-to-date immunizations prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Manages large amounts of inbound calls and texts in a timely manner.
• Monitors performance dashboards to ensure metrics are met daily.
• Register, schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments for multiple sites and providers.
• Identify emergency situations and follow triage protocol.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and patient confidentiality during calls.
• Coordinate appointments across the PHS network and document notes accurately.
• Assist in collecting payments on past due balances and patient outreach as needed.
