Piedmont Health Services, Inc. is hiring a Patient Service Representative at the Prospect Hill Community Health Center in NC. The PSR will check in medical, dental, and behavioral health patients and complete registrations at arrival.

The position requires bilingual Spanish proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, healthcare setting. Hours may vary weekly, with 40 hours weekly and occasional late nights or Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years healthcare customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with patient access (scheduling, registration, insurance verification), preferred.
• Required: bilingual/fluent in Spanish.
• Immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
• Be medically cleared for communicable diseases.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments for medical and dental sites and complete required documentation before departure.
• Coordinate with Center Managers to correct denied claims and minimize errors.
• Ensure patient data is accurate and complete.
• Comply with local, state, federal, industry, and regulatory standards including HIPAA.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and effective communication.
