Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University seeks a detail‑oriented Ambulatory Access Services Intake Coordinator to support new patient scheduling for Medicine Specialties. The role centers on high‑volume phone work, data entry, and coordination of referrals in EPIC, ensuring accurate patient records and smooth access to care.

You will verify demographics, assist with insurance information, and triage scheduling requests while maintaining patient confidentiality and a positive experience for patients

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office with high-volume patient contact.
• Strong PAS knowledge and EPIC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately verify patient information including demographic & insurance coverage.
• Create new medical records for a new patient in EPIC if not present.
• Handle incoming calls via ACD and schedule or triage appointments.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure accurate documentation in EPIC.
