The role requires solid computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and HIPAA awareness. You will work with EPIC EMR, coordinate with clinicians, and help sustain Lean processes for efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in a medical office performing scheduling, check-in/out, insurance verification, co-pays, and records management.
• 1+ years of computer experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; able to use multiple web applications.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and update patient information (name, address, insurance).
• Verify insurance on date of service.
• Handle patient inquiries over the phone using multiple systems.
• Schedule appointments and procedures per guidelines.
• Maintain and file medical records, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
