Ovation Healthcare is hiring a Patient Access Scheduler for a 100% remote role. This position schedules hospital outpatient services, verifies insurance, and handles registrations while ensuring HIPAA compliance and excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate understands medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 codes, and can work effectively with radiology, cardiology, and surgical departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EMR and hospital scheduling software.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule hospital outpatient services, including imaging, tests, therapy sessions, and other procedures.
• Confirm necessary authorizations for hospital outpatient procedures.
• Update demographic and insurance information in the hospital system.
• Communicate appointment details and preparation instructions to patients.
• Handle patient inquiries, reschedule appointments, and manage cancellations.
• Coordinate with radiology, cardiology, and surgical services for scheduling.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Utilize EMR and scheduling software efficiently.
