Ovation Healthcare seeks a Patient Access professional for PRN coverage to support outpatient registration, switchboard, and ED access. Remote position with daytime to early evening shifts, ensuring accurate patient data and efficient service.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years in a clinic/hospital setting, familiarity with Meditech MAGIC, HIPAA basics, and strong customer service and communication skills to deliver high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of experience in a clinic/hospital setting.
• Experience with EMR (Meditech MAGIC preferred) and patient access tools.
• HIPAA knowledge and professional communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Provide switchboard coverage and ED access support as needed.
• Verify insurance and collect required information for registration.
• Ensure accurate data entry in Meditech and related systems.
• Adhere to cash handling and POS procedures and protect patient privacy.
