Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to minimize access and reimbursement barriers for patients and providers for Prolastin-C. The role involves executing market access plans across a broad geographic area, coordinating with HCPs, Market Access, and Sales to resolve reimbursement concerns.

You will need deep knowledge of public and private payer policies and be the expert on payer-related issues. The position requires travel up to 50% and a strong background in specialty pharmacy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of field-based healthcare experience.
• Strong knowledge of payer policies and reimbursement processes.
• Experience with prior authorization mechanisms and medical policy interpretation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across multistate geography.

Responsibilities

• Educate prescribers and office staff on the Prolastin Direct program and processes to facilitate patient access both in person and virtually.
• Resolve reimbursement issues and facilitate access for patients and providers.
• Serve as subject matter expert on payer policies, patient services and pharmacy processes.
• Collaborate with payor team to understand policies and improve coverage decisions.
• Explain prior authorization requirements, appeals, and clinical criteria to providers and staff.
• Build productive relationships with customers in targeted accounts to address market access concerns.
