Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to minimize access and reimbursement barriers for patients and providers for Prolastin-C. The role covers multiple states in North Central and South Central regions and may be remote near a major airport in listed states.

The candidate will educate prescribers, manage patient support services, and collaborate with payors to ensure access, with travel >50% expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree, Advanced degree or PharmD preferred.
• 2 years of rare disease, specialty pharmacy, pharma and/or biopharmaceutical experience.
• 1-2 years of experience calling on field-based customers and building relationships with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Educate prescriber office staff on the Prolastin Direct program to facilitate patient access.
• Champion and manage patient support services and reimbursement programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge in reimbursement and access across patient support offerings; be the SOP on payer issues for geography.
• Collaborate with the payor team to understand payer policies and facilitate patient access.
• Explain prior authorization requirements and appeals processes and support electronic submission of PA and related documents.
• Enhance awareness of patient support offerings and SP processes to optimize patient journey.
• Address patient-specific issues and provide issue resolution across geography.
• Build productive relationships with customers in targeted accounts to address market access issues.
