Banner Health is hiring a PAS Pre-Service Representative for remote Arizona-based work with a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule. The role pre-registers patients, verifies insurance, creates estimates, and reviews prior balances while delivering excellent customer service.

It involves communicating with patients about benefits and liability, and ensuring financial clearance before services. The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with scheduling and finance to optimize patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service or financial-related work experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written.
• Proficiency with PC tools, including Outlook and Excel, in a typical office environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Create patient estimates and review prior balances.
• Educate patients on insurance benefits, financial liability and estimates.
• Communicate with patients to ensure a positive experience and deescalate when needed.
• Coordinate with scheduling or payer to clear accounts before the date of service.
• Follow training and company policies, and maintain patient confidentiality.
