• Verifies patient's demographics and inputs information into the EHR.
• Assists patients with administrative aspects of gaining access to medical treatment.
• Verifies and understands insurance benefits; explains patient financial responsibilities.
• Submits timely insurance authorizations and supports reduction of denials.
• Documents required compliance information and uses hospital systems.
• Manages deposits and supports daily financial tasks for the Patient Access Services team.
