Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in hospital/clinic, insurance or healthcare finance is ideal.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and billing processes is preferred.
• Strong communication, data entry and organization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identification, demographics and insurance.
• Accepts point of service payments and enters data into hospital systems.
• Educates patients on registration kiosks and online systems.
• Escalates routine issues to Lead Patient Access Concierge.
