Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Teaching certifications preferred due to transferable documentation/organization skills.
• Medical Billing or Coding certificates a significant plus.
• Healthcare experience not required; training will be provided.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with EMR systems.
• Training or experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI software is a plus.
• Ability to learn and navigate EMR software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry: input patient demographics, history, and referral details into PAS system.
• Workflow acceleration: prioritize referrals for real-time completion to speed admissions.
• Administrative QC: audit files for missing signatures, contact details, or insurance information.
• Technology integration: use AI tools to summarize data and draft communications.
• Collaboration: align data entry with corporate tracking standards with the Hospital Analytics team.
