Job summary

Kiva is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to cultivate major donors and philanthropic advisors, strengthen donor communications, and oversee proposals and reporting. You will work with Finance, Marketing, Product, and impact teams to deepen engagement and grow donor support.

As an individual contributor, you will manage a portfolio of mid-level and major donors, collaborate across teams, and help craft compelling donor materials, reports, and newsletters.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising or related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects.
• Comfort using a CRM such as Salesforce to track activity, run reports.
• Commitment to Kiva’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional partnership development (30%).
• Gather impact data and borrower stories and translate into proposals, reports and donor materials.
• Maintain accurate donor records and track relationship activity and pipelines.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to coordinate donor messaging.
• Use campaign and event results to improve outreach and lead generation.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events with Strategic Partnerships team.
