Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management to coordinate and deliver complex programs across customers and cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, project lifecycle management, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have PMI knowledge, 2–3 years of project management experience, and proficiency with MS Office tools. A flexible, remote-friendly work setup and travel as needed are supported by Pearson.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a project management role.
• PMP certification or demonstrate PMI principles (Preferred).
• Flexibility in the workplace.
• Ability to make decisions based upon limited information.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Significant experience with customer service and project management.
• Understand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.
• High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal/written communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal resources and external customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service and be responsive to questions and requests.
• Serve as a point-of-contact to customers and cross-functional teams for day-to-day execution.
• Interpret and meet customer expectations to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
• Maintain project management plan, requirements, schedule, and documentation.
• Network with stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables.
• Support implementation of SOWs and contracts.
• Manage scope, schedule, and costs; mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present status reports on risks and issues.
• Support new business initiatives including writing statements of work and change requests.
• Assist in financial reviews to ensure budget and margin.
