Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management to support School Assessment initiatives. You will coordinate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams, manage projects end-to-end, and ensure satisfaction through proactive relationship building and scope control.

The role emphasizes delivering on-time program outcomes, maintaining quality standards, and leveraging MS Office tools to communicate status and outcomes. Flexibility for a dynamic environment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a project management role.
• PMP certification or understanding of PMI principles (Preferred).
• Flexibility in the workplace.
• Ability to decide with limited information.
• Ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Significant experience with customer service and project management.
• Understand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.
• High sense of urgency and attention to detail in communications and deliverables.
• Strong verbal/written communication, listening, negotiation and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal resources and external customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service; respond promptly to questions, concerns and requests.
• Serve as a point-of-contact to customer and cross-functional teams for day-to-day execution.
• Interpret and meet customer expectations to ensure satisfaction.
• Lead project life cycle activities from initiation to close and maintain the project plan and documentation.
• Network with stakeholders to meet project goals and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Support the development of statements of work and change requests as needed.
• Monitor risks, changes to scope, schedule, and costs; implement corrective actions.
