Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management to support School Assessment delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers to meet program goals while maintaining strong relationships.

This role emphasizes proactive risk management, scope control, and clear communication. Remote-friendly, US-based, with exposure to multiple projects within Assessment & Qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a project management role.
• PMP certification or understanding PMI principles (preferred).
• Flexibility in the workplace and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Significant experience with customer service and project management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal resources and external customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service and respond promptly to questions and requests.
• Serve as a point-of-contact for day-to-day execution with cross-functional teams.
• Interpret and meet customer expectations to ensure satisfaction.
• Lead projects through the life cycle: initiate, plan, execute, control, close.
• Maintain project plans, requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors to meet goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables.
• Support implementation of SOWs and contracts.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs.
• Mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements.
• Measure performance and report variances to stakeholders.
• Assist in change control with scope docs and estimates.
• Identify and track risks and mitigate actions.
• Execute tasks per the project plan to meet deliverables.
• Prepare and present internal and external status reports.
• Support Partner Success with new business initiatives, including statements of work and change requests.
• Identify process improvements to reduce cost while maintaining quality.
