Job summary

Yelp is seeking a Senior Partner Account Director to drive agency and partner sales in the SMB space. You will cultivate relationships with local advertisers, manage end-to-end partnerships, and unlock partner-driven revenue while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role is remote but requires residence in Pacific or Mountain time zones. You will leverage a deep network in the tech ecosystem, craft consultative proposals, and travel ~25% to meet clients and industry events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in agency and partner sales, business development, or digital sales.
• Familiar with Yelp’s advertising products, APIs, and channel programs (preferred with Google, Bing, or Facebook).
• Demonstrated history of achieving sales targets.
• Extensive network of contacts within the tech industry.
• Influential, effective communication across written, presentations, negotiations and listening.
• Genuine passion for Yelp’s products and consumer internet offerings.
• Flexible, startup-oriented mindset in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, team player with drive to exceed targets.
• Must have high-speed internet access; willing to travel (25%).

Responsibilities

• Foster strong, collaborative relationships between Yelp and SMB agencies and advertisers.
• Surpass sales targets by delivering new partner-driven revenue each quarter.
• Lead partnership and deal origination process from strategy to pipeline development and growth.
• Create compelling, consultative sales proposals showcasing Yelp’s advertising products.
• Represent Yelp at industry events as an advocate and spokesperson.
• Shape the future direction of Yelp’s advertising partner program.
• Develop and maintain partner relationships to achieve goals.
• Analyze agency structures and decision-making processes to identify key stakeholders.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with agencies and validate advertisers’ needs.
