Job summary

Yelp is seeking a results‑driven Partner Account Director 1 to cultivate agency relationships and drive SMB partner revenue. You will engage senior executives, lead deal origination, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to expand Yelp’s local advertising footprint.

The role is remote within the US Pacific or Mountain time zones, with travel about 25% and a target base salary of $92,500 plus uncapped incentive comp.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in agency and partner sales, business development, or digital sales roles.
• Familiar with Yelp’s advertising products, APIs, and channel programs.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Extensive tech industry network across startups to established brands.
• Excellent written, presentation, negotiation, and listening skills.
• Passion for Yelp products and consumer internet offerings.
• Flexible, startup‑minded, resilient in a fast paced environment.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships between Yelp and SMB agencies and their advertisers.
• Surpass sales targets by delivering partner‑driven revenue each quarter.
• Lead partnership and deal origination from strategy to pipeline to growth.
• Create consultative sales presentations demonstrating Yelp advertising value.
• Represent Yelp at industry events and advocate for the partner program.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive revenue with new clients.
• Analyze agency structures to identify key decision‑makers and budgets.
