Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Partner Architect to act as a strategic technical advisor, bridging sales, services, and partner ecosystems. This role drives pre-sales excellence through deep technical expertise, live demonstrations, and enablement programs for internal teams and clients.

The Architect champions partner technologies (Idira) and aligns solutions with client goals across Optiv’s portfolio, ensuring seamless integration and value realization for customers nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise identity security experience across IAM, PAM, EPM, IGA, or machine identity security.
• Experience with enterprise identity security platforms such as CyberArk/IDIRA, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, BeyondTrust, Delinea, SailPoint, Saviynt, Venafi, or comparable solutions.
• Strong expertise in at least one identity security domain with working knowledge of adjacent domains.
• Understanding of modern privileged access controls including vaulting, rotation, session management, just-in-time access, and least privilege.
• Familiarity with machine identity security, including secrets management, PKI, SSH keys, workload identities.
• Familiarity with identity governance, lifecycle management, access reviews, ITDR.
• Understanding emerging AI agent security requirements, including identity discovery and least-privilege access.
• Working knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, cloud platforms, APIs, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed presentations and demonstrations of partner technologies to internal teams and clients.
• Develop and maintain technical sales tools and documentation, including sizing guidelines and integration guides.
• Lead use case development and create reusable demonstration assets.
• Build and execute enablement sessions and workshops for sales and technical teams.
• Define and document solution architectures and roadmap alignment for partner technologies.
• Collaborate with client advisory and delivery teams to ensure alignment with best practices.
• Support client retention and technology optimization through advisory and assessments.
• Shadow partner engineering teams to stay aligned on evolving capabilities.
