Job summary

Qualifications

• Maine Department of Education certification (282/286) eligibility.
• Experience with teaching and case management at upper elementary and middle school levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepares student IEPs with goals and transition plans.
• Conducts IEP meetings within timelines.
• Acts as facilitator of IEP implementation with general education staff.
• Maintains IEPs, quarterly reports and progress monitoring for caseload.
• Completes all special education paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintains compliant special education files.
