Job summary

HopeLink Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time Crisis Worker to provide emotional support to individuals in crisis via phone, text, and online chat. The role is fully remote with 16 hours per week scheduled across mornings, evenings, and overnights.

Responsibilities include crisis outreach, risk assessment, referrals, confidential documentation, and collaboration with a responsive team. Requires 120+-hour training and strong empathy and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have completed mandatory 120+-hour HopeLink Crisis Services Crisis Worker Training.
• Ability to support people in crisis via voice, chat, and text.
• Proficient typing skills and computer experience.
• Willing to work across different service areas as needed.
• Understanding of confidentiality and privacy issues.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis contacts via voice, chat, and text; greet clients and build rapport.
• Assess safety and risk using established protocols.
• Provide confidential contacts and referrals to resources; engage 911 when needed.
• Document crisis interactions accurately in contact reports.
• Complete administrative tasks and participate in training as required.
