Job summary

UFCU Financial Services, LLC is seeking a Part Time Collector to join a high-performing Collections team and service members with past-due consumer, commercial, or real estate loans. This role emphasizes empathetic communication to understand circumstances and resolve delinquency.

Remote work is available from Texas, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, or Montana, reporting to the Assistant Manager – Collections. Strong communication, research, and follow-through are essential to ensure compliant delinquency

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience collecting secured or unsecured consumer loans.
• Bondability required.
• Strong communication and empathy in member interactions.
• Must be able to work remotely from listed states.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate member identities and contact information.
• Interact with members via calls, email, text, chat, and letters to discuss delinquency.
• Develop and propose resolutions and follow up to resolve loan delinquency.
• Maintain compliance with UFCU policies and applicable laws in all activities.
