Job summary

Resource One Credit Union is seeking a Member Solutions Specialist to minimize loss and maximize recovery of delinquent accounts while delivering excellent member service.

The role involves initiating collection actions, negotiating payment plans, and documenting all actions in the member file, with strict adherence to FDCPA, FCRA, SCRA and other regulations. Flexibility to work remotely or at a designated location is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related collections experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and administers collection actions on delinquent accounts.
• Documents all collection actions in the collection package.
• Negotiates payment arrangements and coordinates loan modifications.
• Maintains confidentiality of member information and complies with laws.
• Communicates clearly with members to resolve delinquency issues.
• Reviews accounts for potential repossession or charge-off per policy.
