Job summary

Alliant Credit Union is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage delinquent member accounts and drive recovery across credit cards, mortgages, vehicle, student, and personal loans. You will negotiate repayment plans, conduct skip tracing, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while providing excellent member service.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with options to work from home up to three days per week, and a comprehensive benefits package including education

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years collections or related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Secondary language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage delinquent member accounts and facilitate payment solutions across stages of delinquency.
• Analyze risk and collaborate with members to develop repayment or recovery strategies balancing member needs and risk objectives.
• Process payments, arrangements, and account servicing activities for delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements for delinquent, charged-off, or high-risk accounts.
• Conduct skip tracing and support recovery efforts with accurate contact information.
