Job summary

Balanced Bookkeeping & Advisory Services is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to manage multiple client accounts with focus on GAAP and accurate QuickBooks Online records. This part-time role requires hands-on experience beyond data entry and offers weekly remote work with occasional in-person meetings.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong QuickBooks proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to review financial statements.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping for multiple client accounts across varied industries.
• Categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online.
• Complete month-end close procedures and prepare timely financial statements.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate proactively with clients and team members to gather information.
