Supporting Strategies is seeking an experienced accounting professional for a part-time, work-from-home position. The role supports multiple clients and leverages a cloud-based platform to deliver outsourced accounting services.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle accounting, 1+ year with QuickBooks or NetSuite, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Work hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with a strong emphasis on client service and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly close, financial reporting).
• 1+ years of transactional accounting using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Experience in multi-client environment preferred.
• Capacity to work during traditional business hours (8:00 am–5:00 pm).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients.
• Support client onboarding for assigned engagements.
• Execute processes related to accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping entries, and monthly closings with financial reporting.
• Collaborate with manager and team to ensure client delight and timely communication.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships within defined processes and budgets.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services or tools to clients.
