Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agents to support our Training Services Team. This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States and starts on or around January 4, 2027.

Responsibilities include answering inbound calls and emails, resolving issues, maintaining accounts, and meeting production targets while supporting volunteers.Flexibility with shifts and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center preferred.
• Skills: Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities; strong verbal/written communication; fast-paced, work-from-home environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and email inquiries from learners, instructors, and organizations; provide resolution and update account records.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance, class information, and usage issues.
• Maintain daily production standards (AHT, Calls per hour, Email per hour, Online time, Quality).
• Triage complex problems and route callers to appropriate resources.
• Provide support and guidance to volunteers; adhere to procedures and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
