Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agents to support our Training Services Team. This remote role is available nationwide in the United States and will start on or around January 4th, 2027.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings strong customer service and problem-solving skills. You will handle inbound calls and emails, maintain records, and work from a home office with variable evening hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service/call center experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work in a fast-paced, work-from-home environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and email inquiries from Training Services learners and instructors.
• Use information from computer systems to resolve inquiries and update records.
• Handle basic inquiries (account maintenance, class information, RCLC usage issues).
• Maintain daily production standards for call metrics and quality.
• Triage complex problems and route callers.
• Provide support, development, and leadership guidance to volunteers.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and applicable regulations.
