Job summary

Workana LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a part-time, remote contractor role supporting a U.S.-based consumer wellness and e-commerce company. You will manage day-to-day AP tasks, including invoice processing in NetSuite, vendor inquiries, and month-end support, with a focus on accuracy and timely approvals.

The role is 15–20 hours per week, remotely from Latin America, with availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience, ideally for US-based companies.
• Experience processing vendor invoices and AP workflows in an ERP system.
• NetSuite experience is highly preferred; other ERP familiarity is acceptable.
• Basic understanding of GL coding, accruals, and accounting periods.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices into NetSuite with accurate details and GL codes.
• Review invoices for accuracy, duplicates, and completeness; match to POs when applicable.
• Coordinate invoice approvals with managers and manage payment holds until approvals.
• Monitor AP inbox, respond to vendor inquiries, and maintain records including W-9s.
• Support month-end closing and address invoice-related questions with Finance.
