Pirate Ship is seeking a Paralegal (First Mate of Legal Affairs) to support the General Counsel with contracts, IP management, compliance, and governance. The role blends administrative and legal work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with periodic in-person meetings.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years paralegal experience, strong drafting and research skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. International and domestic travel is required on a quarterly basis.

Formación

• 2-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a technology company or law firm, with exposure to intellectual property, contracts, and corporate law.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in legal document drafting and review.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Paralegal will be required to travel internationally and domestically on quarterly business meetings.

• Keep Our Documents Shipshape: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and revising contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Maintain an organized and up-to-date document management system to ensure timely compliance with legal obligations and deadlines.
