Job summary

Cresteo is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end packaging and delivery of third‑party apps for Windows and macOS. You will leverage your deep packaging expertise, scripting skills, TypeScript, and CI/CD to automate validation and patching while collaborating with AI-assisted engineering workflows.

You will work with a diverse tech stack, ensure reliable installations, and help scale our on‑demand catalog for US‑based clients and international teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering and at least 2 years with endpoint management/MDM tools.
• Strong Windows packaging experience (MSI/EXE/MSIX) and installers.
• Strong macOS packaging experience (PKG/DMG) and app patching.
• PowerShell and Bash scripting proficiency for automation.
• TypeScript experience for URL resolvers & automation components.
• Experience with YAML-based declarative systems and schema consistency.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and multi-stage workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of third‑party app packages across Windows and macOS.
• Develop and maintain automation for packaging, validation, and production patching.
• Collaborate with AI coding agents and review agent‑generated code.
