Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Software Packager to build, test, and deliver Windows 11 and macOS packages for enterprise deployment. You will own packaging from intake to production, mentor juniors, and drive automation and quality improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software packaging/application deployment with escalation/lead experience.
• Strong Windows (11) packaging and working knowledge of macOS packaging.
• Advanced PowerShell and packaging automation skills.
• MSI/MSIX packaging technologies.
• AdminStudio or equivalent tooling experience.
• Coordinate with app owners and infrastructure teams for upgrades and rollouts.
• Ability to diagnose install/runtime issues via logs and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Package, test, and deliver Windows and macOS applications for enterprise deployment.
• Own packaging from intake to production: requirements gathering, installation analysis, repackaging, testing, UAT support, deployment readiness.
• Serve as technical lead/escalation point; mentor junior packagers and improve playbooks and quality controls.
• Diagnose complex install/runtime issues using advanced monitoring; drive root-cause fixes with vendors and engineering.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth releases and minimal user disruption.
• Improve automation/orchestration for packaging pipelines.
• Use AI to accelerate packaging work: generate/refine scripts, summarize logs, draft runbooks, and produce docs; validate results.
