Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Packaging division is seeking an Account Manager to grow our corrugated packaging business across the Piedmont region, supporting our Spartanburg, SC plant. You will hunt for new opportunities, build relationships, and deliver value-driven solutions while operating as a business owner in your territory.

This home-based remote role requires up to 75% travel to Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, and Augusta, GA within the Piedmont territory.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in packaging, industrial, manufacturing, or related B2B sales.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the territory (up to 75%) and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and leveraging your network.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering value-creating solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project execution.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer buying processes and decision-making dynamics.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
• Demonstrate strong follow-through and ownership, consistently delivering on commitments and customer expectations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share insights that help drive customer and business success.
