Jobot seeks a Permanent Outsourced Accounting Manager in Life Sciences & Biotech to oversee outsourced accounting for diverse clients. You will lead a team, advise on financial strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering detailed reports to stakeholders.

This fully remote role targets senior expertise, with 5+ years in outsourced accounting and BPO. CPA is a plus; leadership and process-improvement skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar outsourced accounting role, ideally in life sciences/biotech.
• CPA certification and/or Big 4 public accounting is a strong plus.
• Extensive knowledge of outsourced accounting and BPO.
• Strong understanding of audit processes and financial regulations.
• Experience with pharmaceutical/medical device companies is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team mentoring capabilities.
• Superior communication skills for non-financial audiences.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced accounting functions for clients in life sciences/biotech.
• Serve as primary client contact for inquiries and solutions.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify process improvements and cost reductions.
• Assist in the audit process and ensure timely completion.
• Provide financial advisory services for client decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
