Job summary

Rexel USA seeks an Outside Sales Representative to join Mayer Team Remotely in Chattanooga. You will drive profitable sales by building strong customer relationships, promoting products, and expanding market reach across the region.

Leverage internal tools, ERP and CRM systems, and supplier support to tailor solutions for each client. Travel to offsite locations will be required to cover assigned territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience
• Valid Driver's License
• High School or GED - Required
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: customer oriented with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent negotiation skills and interpersonal abilities
• Product and application knowledge essential
• Familiar with ERP systems and CRM tools

Responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products and communicate features/benefits
• Increase business by selling to new customers and expanding product sales to existing customers
• Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers to plan and implement sales strategies
• Assist customers with product selection and application using internal knowledge and supplier reps
• Establish and maintain customer relationships
• Understand customer operations to tailor solutions to business objectives
• Coordinate quotations and maintain ongoing communication throughout purchasing lifecycle
• Work with management, credit, and customers to resolve payment issues
• Report market trends and competitor information to management
• Participate in training and development to enhance selling skills and product knowledge
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls and expenses
• Coordinate sales calls with vendors to demonstrate products and solutions
• Use digital tools to gain competitive advantage
• Perform other duties as assigned
