Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services seeks a credentialed Medical Coder to abstract and code inpatient and outpatient records with attention to sequencing and DRG/APC reimbursement. The role requires CPC or equivalent credential and at least two years of production coding across acute care and facility settings.

Qualifications

• Certified coder with CPC or equivalent credential.

• Minimum 2 years of current production coding experience in both acute care and facility coding.
• Minimum 2 years of Facility Wound Care and SDS/AMB across multiple specialties.
• Minimum 2 years of Epic experience.
• Minimum 2 years of 3M experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Abstract, code diagnoses and procedures with accurate sequencing.
• Ensure compliance with AHIMA/AMA/AHA/CMS coding rules.
• Maintain 95% quality rating and HIPAA compliance.
• Work in remote home office environment and manage productivity.
