Hyre Harper Co. is seeking an experienced Outpatient Coding Specialist for a remote role, coding ICD-10-CM and CPT for ambulatory services.

Requirements include AHIMA or AAPC CPC/CCS/RHIT/RHIA certification, 2+ years outpatient coding experience, and proficiency with EPIC and 3M 360.

The role offers performance-based pay at $7 per chart, flexible scheduling between 6 AM–6 PM PST, and long-term engagement. Full-time and part-time options available with steady opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have AHIMA or AAPC Certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA).
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient hospital coding experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC and 3M 360 platforms.

Responsibilities

• Code outpatient encounters with precision, excluding ED and professional billing charts.
• Interpret clinical documentation to ensure accurate code assignment and payer compliance.
• Maintain productivity benchmarks (average 7 charts/hour) and quality scores above 95%.
• Collaborate with auditing teams for feedback and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with coding updates and regulatory changes.
