Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Outpatient CDI Outsourcing Manager to lead end-to-end outsourced outpatient CDI engagements, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient services across vendor and client relationships in a remote US setting.

You will oversee metrics, develop action plans, and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to ICD-10-CM/CPT guidelines while collaborating with consulting services to meet revenue and client satisfaction, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Outpatient CDI management experience in private, public, government or military environments.
• RHIA or CCS certification is required.
• CCDS-O, CRC, or RAC certifications are a plus.
• Strong vendor and client relationship skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for outsourced outpatient CDI engagements (supplemental and total outsource).
• Partner with Consulting Services to meet revenue goals and client satisfaction.
• Serve as escalation point for performance, quality, and vendor issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure outpatient CDI operations meet quality, productivity, and turnaround targets.
• Monitor KPIs, identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop corrective action plans for performance gaps or compliance concerns.
• Ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM/CPT guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Directly lead and supervise outpatient CDI staff; provide coaching and feedback.
• Manage compensation input, performance reviews, and policy enforcement.
