Job summary

Solventum is seeking an CDI Outsourcing Supervisor to provide leadership for outsourced CDI engagements and supervise CDI professionals. You will drive quality, productivity, and performance while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

The role requires a BD-level understanding of clinical documentation, coding, and DRG methodologies, with travel up to 50%. A CCDS certification or RN license is required, plus 8 years of acute care CDI management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Eight years of acute care CDI management experience
• CCDS certification or RN license with at least five years acute care experience
• Travel up to 50% of the time
• Master’s degree in HIM or Nursing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management and oversight for assigned outsourced CDI engagements
• Manage client and vendor relationships and ensure successful delivery of CDI services
• Directly supervise CDI professionals and support ongoing development
• Monitor program effectiveness and develop action plans to address gaps
• Lead day-to-day CDI operations, including workload allocation and performance monitoring
• Partner with clients and internal teams to optimize workflows and CDI practices
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and CDI best practices
