Job summary

Solventum seeks an Outpatient CDI Outsourcing Supervisor to lead outsourced CDI engagements, ensuring quality, productivity and regulatory compliance. The role combines clinical documentation proficiency with vendor management and performance improvement in a remote US setting.

You will mentor staff, align with revenue-cycle workflows, and travel up to 50% domestically or internationally as needed, with on‑site onboarding considerations for new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 7 years outpatient CDI management experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND 12 years outpatient CDI management experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• RHIA or CCS certification is required
• CCDS‑O, CRC, or RAC certifications are a plus
• ICD‑10‑CM/CPT and APC methodologies experience in outpatient CDI
• Revenue cycle workflows experience and quality‑of‑care measures (HEDIS, OQR) are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide overall operational leadership for assigned outpatient CDI engagements (outsourced or vendor-led).
• Monitor quality, productivity, and turnaround targets; drive corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to ICD‑10‑CM/CPT guidelines and APC methodologies.
• Lead and develop outpatient CDI staff, allocating work and conducting evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
