Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Outpatient CDI Outsourcing Manager to lead end-to-end outsourced outpatient CDI engagements, including both supplemental and total outsource arrangements. You will ensure high-quality, compliant CDI services, manage vendor and client relationships, and drive performance against quality and regulatory targets.

This is a remote US-based role with up to 50% travel and require eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with 7 years of outpatient CDI management experience
• High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of outpatient CDI management experience
• RHIA or CCS certification required
• CCDS-O, CRC, or RAC certification beneficial
• Minimum 5 years of outpatient CDI experience
• ICD-10-CM/CPT and APC methodologies experience
• Clinical documentation improvement and revenue cycle workflows experience
• Quality-of-care measures experience (HEDIS, OQR)

Responsibilities

• Provide overall operational leadership for outsourced outpatient CDI engagements (supplemental and total outsource)
• Partner with Consulting Services to support revenue goals and client satisfaction
• Serve as primary escalation point for performance, quality, and vendor-related issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contracted vendors and internal stakeholders
• Ensure outpatient CDI operations meet quality, productivity, and turnaround targets
• Monitor KPIs and develop corrective action plans for performance gaps or compliance concerns
• Directly lead and supervise assigned outpatient CDI staff
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
• Manage compensation input, performance reviews, and policy enforcement
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
