Job summary

SelectQuote is seeking experienced, driven, resilient sales professionals to join our Qualifications Team as a Sales Development Advisor (SDA). This is an unlicensed, outbound sales role focused on contacting prospective customers, generating interest, understanding needs, overcoming objections, and transferring qualified prospects to licensed agents.

This is a high-volume, metrics-driven sales position with paid training, base pay plus bonus, and a potential path into a licensed sales role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of telesales or inside sales experience required.
• Experience in a high-volume, metrics-driven or commission-based sales environment preferred.
• Proven ability to meet quotas, KPIs, or conversion goals.
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills; capable of following scripts.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers, up to 800 calls per day.
• Generate interest and engage prospects over the phone.
• Identify needs and qualify prospects for transfer to a licensed agent.
• Handle objections and move conversations toward next steps.
• Follow established scripts and processes while maintaining natural conversation.
• Meet or exceed transfer and performance goals.
• Be coachable and apply feedback to improve performance.
