Job summary

SelectQuote is seeking experienced, driven sales professionals for the Sales Development Advisor (SDA) role. This unlicensed outbound position targets prospective customers, transfers qualified prospects to licensed agents, and offers paid training with base pay plus bonus.

This is a high-volume, metrics-driven role, not customer service. Candidates should be comfortable with scripts, rejection, and daily targets, with potential career path into an insurance license and licensed sales roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of telesales, inside sales, phone sales, or comparable sales experience required.
• Proven ability to work in a high-volume, metrics-driven or commission-based sales environment preferred.
• Demonstrated success working toward quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or other measurable sales objectives.
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers, with activity of up to 800 calls per day.
• Generate interest and create meaningful engagement with prospective customers.
• Identify customer needs and qualify prospects for transfer to a licensed insurance agent.
• Meet or exceed monthly transfer, contact-to-transfer, and other performance goals.
• Follow established sales scripts, processes, and instructions while maintaining a natural and engaging conversation.
